My review of two new lotions for joint pain and exercise recovery

February 23, 2023

As many of you know, I have lived with chronic pain from a neurological movement disorder called dystonia since 2001. In my booksblogs, and articles, I talk about many tools for pain I use, several of which are lotions from a company called Resonant Botanicals. I recently tried 2 of their new products called, Painless Joint – Bone on Bone Joint Pain Relief, and Painless Sports Recovery – Workout Lotion. This brief review will share a little about them, along with my experience in case you think they might be of benefit in your pain situation.

Painless Joint – Bone on Bone Joint Pain Relief
Painless Joint- Bone on Bone Joint Pain Relief is a deeply penetrating topical cream used to relieve medium to intense joint aches and pains. They have reformulated one of their previous products called MSR to provide more relief than before. This new lotion is a proprietary blend of terpenes, essential oils, and 2000mg of Premium Hemp Oil Extract. It’s great for hands, wrists, elbows, shoulders, neck, knees, ankle, feet, back, and hips…basically the whole body. It comes in the glass jar as in the picture below, as well as a TSA approved pump.

I used this daily for 3 weeks straight in the morning and night on my neck and shoulders that are always sore from my dystonia (without any of their other lotions so I could see what  was doing what for me since I use several lotions). It provided me with a relaxing pain relief sensation that also helped with sleep. Upon waking and using it again, I had a more peaceful, less painful start to my day.

This product is for anyone with an acute or chronic pain condition, and considering the nature of most chronic pain conditions with so much inflammation, as well as the aging process that naturally degrades bone, muscles, joints, cartilage, and ligaments, this is an ideal lotion for many.

Painless Sports Recovery – Workout Lotion
Painless Sport Recovery contains a proprietary blend of botanicals, Hemp oil Extract, and Menthol and Camphor. Although it is named “sports recovery,” this is not just a product for athletes. It is for any pain situation that you experience, but I will say that on days when I over-exert myself or on a heavier exercise day, this lotion is my go-to for relief.

Like the Painless Joint Bone on Bone Joint Pain Relief, I used Painless Sport daily for 3 weeks straight; again, without using any other lotion so I could really give these 2 new products good independent tests. Like the other, this lotion provided me with a relaxing relief sensation that helped me settle in to sleep with more comfort, and upon waking and using it again, less pain to start the day. Both lotions work rather quickly which I really like.

Even if you are not an athlete but live with a chronic muscle or joint disorder, your body is essentially working out all day, so this could be very helpful for you to try. Living with dystonia where even at rest my muscles are active due to the fact that they contract/spasm involuntarily, a lot of trauma is taking place where this lotion comes in handy.

In addition to sharing my experience using these two new products, I wanted to briefly comment on two of my other favorites by this company. The first is called Neuro-Soothe, a pain lotion that was developed to provide relief from symptoms associated with neuropathy, fibromyalgia, and dystonia. This caught my attention because I have lived with chronic pain from dystonia for over 20 years. The first few times I used it was after a massage. I had at least 75% relief from the pain until I went to bed, I also had no pain upon waking! I then began to use it at different times during the day, as needed, with similar results.

The other lotion is called Royal. Royal is the result of feedback from customers who were trying to mix their different products to find the best combination for their unique pain. The company then took the best parts of their muscle, joint, and nerve pain products, combined with 1000 mg of Hemp Oil Extract, and created Royal.

While they all provide me with relief and are easy to use and apply with great absorption rate, as well as fast acting with a physical and mental calming effect, I think my favorite lotion is NeuroSoothe. HOWEVER, there have been occasions when I have felt a certain way that either Painless Joint, Painless Sport Recovery, or Royal felt like the better go to. This being said, you really have to try them to see which is right for you. One last thing is that they are non-greasy, non-staining, and have very pleasant smells that are muted, unlike other stronger smelling lotions. They are also certified organic.

If you decide to try any of their products, use Coupon Code RELIEF for 10% off and free shipping. They also offer a 30-day money back guarantee on all of their products if you don’t get results. They are a solid company with good people I have come to know over the past several years, so I am very comfortable recommending them. I wish you the best of luck if you try it any of their products, and hope you will share with me your results.

  1. Oooh these look good! I’m not sure if they’re available in the UK but I’ll take a mooch now. I use one gel for pain but it’s not great, pretty much does nothing for nerve damage pain but it’s okay for achy joints. I’d love to try something else for more intense pain, especially if it can cover different problems (fibro, nerve damage, joint inflammation etc). The range here looks great but I’m so indecisive that I wouldn’t know which to go for. I’m off to see if I can get one now, fingers crossed – thanks very much for sharing this!

I think they ship worldwide, but I forget at the moment. I hope they do and you find one that helps. Based on the symptoms you mentioned, I suggest NeuroSoothe. I have used almost all of their lotions and find them effective for different things, but NeuroSoothe is most often my go to when in need. If you decide to try any, I would love to hear how it works out for you!

I had purchased 2 pots of Neuro -soothe. One for myself and once to gift. I does seem effective. However we really struggled with the scent. I found I’ve found adding a few drop of favorite aromatherapy oils does wonders! Peppermint coincidental is also very good to the keep mosquitoes away!

What a great idea Lori! Peppermint is great for so many things. I didn’t know it helped with mosquitos. Maybe they should use that instead of citronella in candles 🙂

Have you tried any of the Medical Marijuana creams? If so, how are these better?

These look & sound quite promising Tom! Thanks for the feedback I’m definitely going to give a couple a try!
